The Oncology Department of Taikang Xianlin Gulou Hospital integrates various treatments such as minimally invasive oncology, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunology, and traditional Chinese medicine. The department currently has 53 beds and 13 doctors (4 with doctoral degrees and 8 with master's degrees), including 4 with senior professional titles and 3 with intermediate professional titles; There are 15 nurses, including 4 with intermediate professional titles, 1 oncology specialist nurse, 1 palliative care specialist nurse, and 1 static therapy specialist nurse. The department is equipped with intelligent digital linear accelerators, large aperture CT simulation positioning machines, MONACO radiotherapy planning system, MOSAIQ radiotherapy network system and other high-end radiotherapy equipment. It can routinely carry out radiotherapy, three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT), intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), image-guided intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IGRT), stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT), as well as new radiotherapy technologies such as Medda active respiratory gating (ABC) and volume rotation intensity-modulated radiotherapy (VMAT). Our oncology department has established a deep cooperation with the Nanjing Gulou Hospital Cancer Center to build an online consultation platform. For complex cases, multimodal image fusion can be performed to improve the accuracy of radiotherapy. At the same time, the online consultation platform can invite expert directors and senior physicists from Gulou Hospital to discuss and review difficult target areas and plans in the cloud, allowing experts to provide "cloud services".
