Over the years, more than 30 research papers have been published in SCI and national journals; Hosted 10 key scientific research projects in the military and at the provincial and ministerial levels, won 3 second prizes and 2 third prizes for military scientific and technological achievements, and cooperated to win 1 first prize for science and technology in Jiangsu Province. In 1997, 2003, and 2007, he was awarded the title of "Outstanding Young and Middle aged Science and Technology Talent" by the Nanjing Military Region. In 2011, he was awarded the title of "Science and Technology Talent" by the Nanjing Military Region and was selected as one of the "181 Project Cross Century Talents", "122 Project Army level Talents", and "334 Engineering Science and Technology Leading Talents" in the military.

Mainly engaged in thoracic and cardiac surgery, as well as clinical and scientific research on chest tumors, proficient in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment of pulmonary nodules (with 7 years of experience in the pulmonary nodule specialty clinic at Bayi Hospital), early diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of lung cancer, and endoscopic surgery for lung cancer and esophageal cancer. Serving as the director of thoracic and cardiac surgery at a tertiary hospital for nearly 20 years, the accuracy of diagnosis of pulmonary nodules and early lung cancer confirmed by minimally invasive surgery is 95%, and the rate of endoscopic surgery in the leading discipline is over 90%.
